Also the volume controls on the headphone itself seem to be ineffective. Ive disabled the Absolute Volume feature but noticed no result. You can control PulseAudio thoroughly through the command line using pacmd and pactl commands. It seems (but need to check better) that I can only set volume selectively for some applications, from the Audio Advanced Settings.
